I've come to the realisation that I'm a sugar addict. For years I've been denying this. I've always thought my taste ran towards the savoury side. I don't eat a lot of lollies (I find them too sweet) or chocolate (same again). I prefer salty things, but I've realised that I need to have 5 or more servinngs of fruit a day. If I don't then I get really grumpy. I usually have a piece of fruit before and/or after a meal. I've also noticed that if I don't have fruit, I start graving sugary foods like lollies. I'm trying to eat more protein to help stabilise my sugar cravings. But since I don't eat much meat I've been grazing on nuts and seeds all day.
Let's see how I go.

#44: How many words...
MEDICINES
sin, din, dine, dime, dim, scene, seed, seen, seem, die, dice, mice, mien, mine, ice, see, men, medicine, end
A motion picture scene,
A cast of the dice,
The sin of mice and men,
A nickle and a dime,
On a gambler's whim,
Now his life is mine.
His last meal he will dine,
Poison it will seem,
And in the din of non-existence,
the winning medicine so far out of reach,
The darkness he will see.
A mien of ice,
His Lady Luck
nowhere to be seen,
the seed of life
left alone to die,
A loser to the bitter end.
